The process of formation and development

Established in 1988 under the title of “Department of Offshore Engineering Techniques“ becoming the “ICOFFSHORE” (Institute of Offshore for Construction Engineering) from 1994, created by Prof.Pham Khac Hung, Former Director

• The Institute educates engineers, provides postgraduate education; carries out scientific research and application of the scientific and technological achievements in construction of Offshore and Coastal structures in Vietnamese conditions
• The institute “ICOFFSHORE” is unique Institution in Vietnam Education & Training today in the field of Offshore Engineering
• Staff: over 20 Lecturers and 30 part-time Collaborators, 3 Professor & Associate Professors and 10 Doctors
